Trade Commissioner Mario Vargas

"Australia presents many opportunities for Peruvian companies. Our strategy has been to enhance the local awareness of the country of origin for those products which already have a strong presence such as quinoa, cacao and asparagus. We are devising strategies to enhance the ease with which Peruvian products and services reach the Australian market through strategic partnerships and various digital platforms. We see Australia as the gateway to Asia for Peruvian companies."
